Do you have a power of attorney that you trust?
BEFORE WE BEGIN
The first question we’ll ask you to help us understand your starting point:
Yes
What if there was a way to help them be ready?
Yes, but…
What if you could name a back-up agent too?
No
What if you could choose a Professional Next-of-Kin?
The reality.
Trust is the starting point.
A good fiduciary (someone who serves in your best interests) also needs to be:
Informed.
They need to know about you, your history, and what matters to you.
Objective.
They need to make decisions that are objective and educated.
Organized.
So that decisions, actions, and updates don’t fall through the cracks.
A Plan.
They need your documented decisions, so they’re not guessing.
Capacity.
They need to by physically willing, and able to serve.
Experienced.
They know what the role entails and how to navigate it.
How We Work Together
THE PROCESS
We start with a conversation. We learn about your situation, and discuss our services.
Discovery consult
1
You fill out a 2 minute intake form online, and then we meet in person to learn more about you, answer any questions you might have, and discuss together whether Agents of Choice is the right fit.
2
Proposal & Quote
We follow-up with an e-signable contract, Frequently Asked Questions, and your specific price quote for your service and package. Our prices are personalized to your needs, circumstances, and complexity.
Contract & Payment
3
We recommend all of our clients review their contract with another lawyer, to ensure they understand its terms. Once signed, your contract is stored in your secure client profile, which houses billing alongside all future communication and documented decisions.
Engagement Kick-off
4
We set-up your first Proactive Planning session. Each session includes an agenda so that you know what to expect, alongside a brief questionnaire, an in-person interview with you (and sometimes your other professionals), followed by notes that you review and approve.
